Single, yes but not alone

As a development practitioner she has over twenty-five years' experience of grassroots work, training, research, networking and advocacy. Main focus of her work is on women's health and rights within gender, inclusion and equity framework. She has been strengthening community engagement in establishing Social Accountability in health and integrated a digital interface for the same. She is actively engaged with many health rights-based networks. She has worked for fourteen years with SUTRA and was one of the women leaders who initiated the single women’s forum in Himachal Pradesh and has been mentoring the network for some years now. She is founder and managing trustee of SEHER -a not for profit organization- working on women’s Health, Equity and Rights. She holds a Master's in Social Work (KUK). She is a native of Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh.
